About the Project

The Contra Costa County Historical Society is tasked with the responsibility of preserving, protecting, and providing public access to the records and heritage of Contra Costa County. We were asked to create a modern, easy to use site that fit with its new identity and branding (also created by us!).

In close collaboration with the CCCHS team, we worked to develop a new digital design system to better bring the organization to life. Through discussions, we identified core users and their goals for interacting with the site. From there, we designed flows and visual systems that simplified and enriched their experience.
